Company types
How the filters work
A filter judges a company type only where the fact has been read from its source. Every type then lands in one of three groups.
The three groups
- Meets every filter
- Every filter you set was read for it, and it passes each one.
- Can’t be told
- At least one filter you set has no data for it. It is neither passed nor struck out, and the row names the filter.
- Struck out
- It fails at least one filter, on a fact read from the source. The row gives the reason.
Nothing is graded or ranked. The list is alphabetical by place; a table column sorts only when you ask it to.
